Summer 2013 MRSEC REU Program
Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) fellowships are awarded to undergraduates from four-year colleges and universities for participation in a ten-week summer program. Students enjoy innovative research, professional development, and social activities all in the heart of New York City.
The Experimental Cuisine Collective
The ECC is a working group that assembles scholars, scientists, chefs, writers, journalists, performance artists, and food enthusiasts. This initiative is the collaboration of MRSEC Investigator Kent Kirshenbaum, Amy Bentley from NYU's Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health

The NYU MRSEC has partnered with the BioBus (http://BioBus.org), a converted transit bus equipped with digital microscopes, a cell culture lab, and a computer cluster. This teaching laboratory on wheels travels in and around New York City, bringing hands-on scientific activities to schools, community centers and museums.
Scientific Frontiers Program
The MRSEC supports the SFP, which strives to enrich science education and instill excitement about science in the K-12 sector. Students participate is dynamic scientific demonstrations in the MDI and the CSMR.
